Are rusty hinges covered?
No. The hinge finish is not warrantied. Consider proximity to salt water when installing.
What about broken glass from impact?
Damage such as glass broken by a rock or other impact is not a manufacturing defect and is not covered as one.
Can I install a storm door?
Yes. American Door is not responsible for failure of or damage caused by the storm door, or damage to the American Door product resulting from the storm door.
Can I add a peep sight, mail slot or pet door?
These modifications must use a water-resistant inner sleeve to protect the door core. Follow the accessory manufacturer's instructions.
